Dr. Kevin Naficy is a graduate of
Farleigh Dickinson University in New
Jersey, where he received his Master of
Science in Dentistry as well as his
Certificate of Training in Orthodontics.
His Master’s Thesis was a candidate of
the prestigious Milo Hellman Award for
its innovative research on the
suprahyoid muscles of the Rhesus monkey.
Kevin was one of the founders of the
Department of Graduate Orthodontics
at the University of Tehran and was
the president of the Iranian
Association of Orthodontics from
1983-1985. In addition to his
frequent guest lectures at Shiraz
University during that time, Kevin
was also chosen as the Orthodontic
consultant to the Iranian National
Bank Hospital and served this
position until moving to the U.S. in
1986. He also served as the
Secretary of the Asian Division of
the International Association for
Dental Research until 1986. In 2004,
Dr. Naficy became a diplomat to the
American Board of Orthodontics, the
highest professional honor in
Orthodontics.
In addition to his extensive
international experience in
orthodontics, Kevin also continues
to publish articles in accredited
regional dental journals. Most
recently, one of his patient cases
was selected for publication in the
Summer 2005 issue of PCSO Bulletin
for it’s exemplary approach to
treating patients with malocclusion.

Dr. Naficy enjoys spending time with
his wife and two daughters, playing
tennis, skiing, and reading Persian
poetry
